The Communication Bundle Project
Are you a caregiver supporting someone living with a disability? Feeling frustrated or unheard?
You’re supporting someone day to day living with a disability. This is incredibly challenging and exhausting, not to mention everything else on your to-do list.
It seems like we are never out of the woods, our journey is a marathon not a sprint. I am still running...
You have hopes and dreams - but you lay awake at night wondering how you are going to overcome all the barriers on your own.
You presume potential - but you’re worried the people in their world don’t KNOW them and their capabilities?
You have a clear vision - but everyone on the team or support network are unsure of their role in implementing that vision? Everyone is on their own agenda.
You continually have the same conversations with your education team or support network each year with minimal progression. There is never enough time.
You want the educational learning plan to be academically focused - but you are not an educator.

It all feels WAY too overwhelming and exhausting.
TRUTH BOMB: You have everything you need to make your vision a reality. You just need the support and guidance to help transfer your knowledge and specific strategies that you "just know" to others on the team.
I feel your pain. I am a wife and a mother of 3, my oldest living with complex needs. As a teacher and a mom, I have definitely had my fair share of frustrations when others are not seeing her for who she truly is and what she has to offer.
Over the past 8 years, I have created many resources for my daughter. I have narrowed it down to the specifics that are presenting my daughter in a strength-based way to others who are supporting her.
Imagine:
Professionals in your circle presuming potential and supporting the person beyond the disability.
Feeling empowered and confident when walking into any meeting with your school team or support network.
Being able to confidently articulate the specific supports and strategies in your vision.
That your vision is being fully supported by the team and support network.
You have templates and examples ready to provide to everyone on your team.
Having impactful and intentional conversations discussing growth and academic progress each year.

I have helped over 150 participants supporting individuals ranging from 1-33 years old, and each of them have expressed extreme value in creating a Communication Bundle at all stages of life and advocacy.
The Communication Bundle is a “LIVE” hands-on, step-by-step, instructional six-week video program that equips parents, caregivers, assistants, therapists or teachers with the knowledge of specific supports and strategies needed to support someone living with complex needs.
In this program, I peel back the curtain and show you exactly how to:
Create and curate a customized resource toolkit
Get access to live instruction and real-life examples
Organize and gather information into templates
Identify your personalized vision and the roles of implementation
Strengthen your personal support network
Create a life-long and evolving framework to support your vision
Why is this program unique?
YOU are actively participating, developing & curating a customized Communication Bundle that is an information-rich toolkit for someone that is supporting a person living with a disability.
I am confident that having a Communication Bundle will have a HUGE impact on your life as it has many others. You caught that, right?
Creating a Communication Bundle at any stage of life IS extremely valuable and I'm going to help you do the same through:
Successfully transferring your knowledge to the team that supports the person who lives with a disability.
Articulating specific supports and strategies that are working and not working.
Easily converting others to presume potential in the person.
Don’t take yourself too seriously, laughter cures the soul!
I am a mother and a teacher obsessed with changing the way our world supports and acknowledges people living with disabilities.
Our journey started when our daughter Hannah was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome in 2012. I felt like I went through this journey alone struggling to find the supports I was looking for along the way. Once my soul was awakened, I vowed to contribute a different narrative to both teachers and parents. I was tired of the excuse of budget, time and lack of knowledge. I strongly believe in belonging, relationships and connection for all of us.
My hard work in the field of charity and education has equipped me as a natural advocate for inclusion. Over the years, the content that I have adapted and created has brought me to present at international conferences, facilitating workshops, coaching parents, teachers, and working with school districts. I am committed to supporting families by helping them navigate this world of disabilities from my own lived experience.
Objections:
It feels like it is just one more thing. Sounds familiar? I was there too. Until I created many of these resources, I was frustrated and spinning my wheels. I was always feeling anxious about school. I couldn’t articulate my thoughts and didn’t feel confident enough in my mama gut versus their expertise. It can be a lot more simple than you think. These templates paired with the live instruction can help organize your thoughts and ideas.
The cost is too high. Consider the outcome if you don’t do this. Previous participants have created a Communication Bundle for loved ones they are supporting from 1 - 33 years old. The feedback was unanimous that each one wished they would have started when they were younger. The framework for these 8 key resources are incredibly valuable and can help to prevent years of frustration and struggling through the challenges of navigating advocacy on your own.
I already have something like this. I know that as we grow and learn from each other on the journey, we are picking up little nuggets here and there. I know you will gain more than one great nugget if you take part!
